Practical proposals on how to rethink governance reporting. With pressure on preparers to avoid box ticking, and to tell their governance story, the search is on for implementable ideas on communicating governance issues to investors.

In this new publication, Report Leadership suggests:

  • Ways to restructure the traditional governance report to integrate the impact of governance on the company business model.
  • Examples of how graphics can illustrate the board as a team, and the board actions in shareholder engagement
  • Means to use the board evaluation process to explain board culture and effectiveness.

And we offer a 'compliance checker', which could be used as the basis for making the two-part compliance statement required by Listing Rule 9.8.6, as well as making it easy for readers to find mandated disclosures.

The tracker is summarised in the main report; to receive a copy of the compliance tracker please contact us.
