Charles Tilley

Charles joined CIMA as chief executive in 2001. He became a partner of KPMG in 1986, and subsequently held senior positions as group finance director with Hambros PLC and head of finance and operations with merchant bank, Granville Baird. Charles is a board member of the International Federation of Accountants where he has promoted the profession’s involvement in narrative reporting.

Why was he interested in joining Report Leadership?

“In essence, external reporting should be the top slice of management information that is used in board discussions. Report Leadership seeks to align external reporting with management reporting and uses some practical examples of how this might happen.”
