“The quantity of disclosure is increasing rapidly but that doesn’t necessarily lead to an increase in quality. Many of the trends I want to explore are poorly communicated at present and this is where Report Leadership comes in. The ideal report goes beyond formal disclosure requirements and helps investors understand the underlying developments in the business. There are many simple and practical steps that companies can take that would greatly improve external understanding of their business and hence the quality of dialogue that companies can have with their stakeholders.”
